UNL Surplus is a department of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln which brokers auction sales for other departments which have surplus equipment. We operate both NUAuction, which is the system for university-only auctions, and Ebay auctions. It is our mission to provide quality surplus and excellent customer service.

As any other department of any university, we are a not-for-profit department. This enables us to operate on a cost-recovery basis. Any net profit we are left with at the end of the year is returned to the departments which we sold for that year.

Notice: UNL Surplus has adjusted its fee structure. We will no longer be charging a percentage of each sale but rather will be charging an hourly fee for services rendered. We feel this will allow us to more accurately recover our expenses while providing the most cost-effective service to the University.
